Prof. Ariel Orda

Bio:

Ariel Orda received the B.Sc. (summa cum laude), M.Sc., and D.Sc. degrees from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, in 1983, 1985, and 1991, respectively, all in electrical engineering. Since 1994, he has been with the Technion’s faculty, where he is currently the Herman and Gertrude Gross Professor of Communications. During 1.1.2014-12.31.2017, he served as the Dean of the Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technion. His research interests include the application of game theory to networking, network routing,  survivability, QoS provisioning, network pricing and wireless networks. He is an IEEE Fellow and has received several awards for research, teaching, and service.
